$650 annual parking stipend
-
$200 annual meal stipend

Voices From the Front Lines
“This is a historic achievement,” said UMRFA Chair Dr. Lo Tamburro. “It reflects our strength, solidarity, and commitment to Baltimore.”
AFT Maryland President Kenya Campbell called it “a leap forward” for the city’s healthcare system.
Why It Matters
Residents and fellows provide critical care in hospitals. Better pay, more time off, and stronger support will help reduce burnout and improve patient care.
At RescueMeds, we know that when providers have the resources they need, patients benefit. This contract is a win for both.
A Broader Movement
Healthcare workers nationwide are organizing for better conditions. From nurses to pharmacists, the call is the same: fair pay, safe workplaces, and a voice in decisions.
UMMC’s deal shows what’s possible when healthcare professionals unite.
RescueMeds supports healthcare workers.
When they thrive, patients get the care they deserve.
