Protecting Maryland’s Injured Workers

One of our biggest victories of the year was defeating SB 306, a bill that threatened the care of more than 230,000 injured workers.

If passed, the bill would have:

• Expanded PBM power and restricted patient access

• Limited medically necessary prescriptions

• Put independent pharmacies at risk

But our community stepped up.

Patients, doctors, attorneys, and unions testified, signed petitions, and contacted legislators, ensuring workers—not corporations—remained the priority.

Expanding Access Nationwide

2025 was a major growth year for RescueMeds, as we brought our patient-first model to more states than ever before.

New State Licensures

We added 7 new states:
Alabama, Hawaii, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, South Carolina, and Vermont

We now serve 28 states plus Washington, DC, with California coming in early 2026.

Growing Our Team

To support this expansion, we welcomed 7 new employees across Maryland and Hawaii—strengthening our national operations and enhancing patient care.

We added:

• An expanded, redesigned educational blog covering:

  • PBM reform

  • Workers’ Comp policy updates
